Overview


The Executive Assistant is accountable for the provision of high quality, confidential, organisational and information management support and advice to the Director Commissioning and Director Clinical Governance Unit.


The purpose of the role is to enable an effective dedicated support service to the Director Commissioning and Director Clinical Governance Unit, by coordinating and actioning a wide range of administrative functions across the portfolio.


This includes but is not limited to:

  • Providing confidential high level administrative support to the Directors.
  • Communicating and liaising with executives and staff at all levels of DHW.
  • Assisting the Directors to implement organisational projects, plans, milestones and monitoring of key performance indicators.
  • Undertake a coordination project management role of all relevant programs and projects through monitoring their progress against projected milestones and deadlines.
  • Liaise with responsible Project Sponsors and Project Managers.
  • Plan, schedule, arrange and participate in management meetings.
  • Contribute to the identification and preparation of responses to emerging and priority issues.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders as required by the Directors.
  • Undertake research tasks.
  • Manage the Director Commissioning schedule, including travel, meetings, and other activities.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (general employment)
