    Description

    The opportunity is with a Global Company who provide logistic security services for companies with valuable and vulnerable goods. Located in Alexandria, they are seeking a Customer Service / Operations Coordinator to join the team and take on a regional focus for expediting high value goods. You will be responsible for the entire operational process with an emphasis on Airfreight shipments.

    Job responsibilities include:

    • Co-ordination of shipments from start to finish
    • Preparation of job files
    • Ensuring paperwork is complete and received within time frames
    • Updating clients with shipment status
    • Liaising with vendors and monitoring costs
    • Invoicing and closing files

    To be an eligible applicant you must have:

    • Some experience in international freight forwarding/logistics is preferred
    • Airfreight operations experience (desired but not essential)
    • Attention to detail
    • The ability to build and maintain relationships
    • Accountability and dedicated work ethic
    • Customer Service orientated
