Customer Service Officer - $65k plus Super


Our client is a no 1 supplier of manufacturing products for Builders and Architects across New Zealand, Australia and the USA.

Due to internal movement an exciting opportunity exists for a Customer Service professional with Estimation experience and strong computer skills to join their team.

This is a fulltime permanent position and is initially based in Frenchs Forest but will be relocating to Wetherill Park in February 2024.


Duties will include -

  • Acting as liaison between the NZL Engineering and product development team and the Sydney Team
  • Providing high quality customer service and support
  • Ensuring customer orders are reviewed, verified and processed as per the requirements
  • Filing/maintaining all paperwork including digital filing
  • Preparing quotes for clients and ensuring 100% accuracy and clarity on pricing proposals and quotations
  • Preparing and communicating work orders for manufacture
  • Receiving, handling and investigating client complaints and issues
  • Following up queries relating to order ETA's
  • Assisting with the showroom, ie maintenance and presentation
  • Keeping systems and records up to date and accurate
  • Ensuring Tenders are back within 48 hours and maximise Tender opportunities
  • Assisting Business Development Managers as required
    To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience
  • Estimation experience, preferably in the Building industry
  • Superior computer skills
  • Epicor, Sugar or similar
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Product and sales process knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Previous experience in the Manufacturing, Trade or Building industries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound problem solving and analytical capabilities
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt and embrace change
  • Accuracy, speed and Attention to detail
