Our client is Canberra is seeking a highly skilled and energetic Tester to work in our Identity Access Management (IAM) project team.
Testers with experience in both manual and data testing should apply. This is a fast-paced environment, and we require an enthusiastic, professional tester focused on delivering quality outcomes. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on projects using leading edge technology.As a Test Analysts you will be required to undertake:
- Analysis of requirements documentation
- Design, preparation and execution of test cases for system testing
- Management of defects found during testing
- Preparation and execution of regression test cases for system testing
Essential criteria
- Extensive experience (5 years+) undertaking system/integration testing of largescale systems, using manual or automated testing methods. Must have strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment and experience using DevOps toolset.
- Strong personal qualities including well developed communication skills, an ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, sound prioritization, time management and organizational skills. Must also have strong personal drive and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
- Automation testers must have demonstrated and welldeveloped scripting skills in C#, VBS, Java and Ruby, and the use of these skills in the development of effective automation testing. Experience in advanced automation testing, with a focus on the development of technical automation solutions to provide efficient testing outcomes.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience working on the department's Employment, Skills or Education IT systems.
- Experience working with Active Directory and IAM data.
Australian Citizens
with ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1
.
Length of Contract:
Initial 3 months with 12 months extension later
The role closes at 2pm Friday 31st March 2023.
