Workforce Planner to join our busy and successful Victorian Industrial Recruitment team. Being a varied role you will have the choice to work from either our Mulgrave or Altona office - which ever is closer to home
As a Workforce Planner at Chandler Macleod you will assist our clients with the allocation and confirmation of personnel into shifts.
The role of a Workforce Planner will see you take ownership of all aspects of the rostering for large-scale clients in the blue-collar industry and be confident working directly with our clients to understand and support their workforce needs.
Aside from creating and communicating rosters, you will also need to have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exceed under pressure.
The successful applicant will be required to work from Monday to Friday with flexibility around shift times to suit clients demands.
Your daily responsibilities will be varied and will include a range of the following tasks;- Develop and manage rosters for client sites with up to 500 labour hire employees
- Communicate rosters and roster changes to relevant staff and clients
- Respond to and assist with enquiries; including the administration of roster changes, cancellations and leave arrangements
- Assist with payroll queries
- Attend client stakeholder meetings

- Great relationship building and communication skills
- Be reliable, flexible and have loads of initiative and a strong work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and manipulate rosters to ensure coverage
- Ability to follow and adhere to clear process and compliance guidelines.
- Previous experience in a workforce planning, rostering and/or scheduling role an advantage, but not essential
