The business develops solutions around two way radio, microwave, wifi, scada, telemetry and essentially all other forms of connectivity solutions for the remote environment.


The Australian arm to the business has built a stellar reputation through excellent work throughout government, enterprise, transport, infrastructure, public safety, mining and many other industry verticals that can attest to their credibility of being a true market innovator.


Position
The position of Assembly/Field Technician is now available to work in the Melbourne head office.

The main responsibility will be to deliver day to day repair and assembly requirements.

This includes assembly of mechanical and electrical equipment, modification and / or altering of radio equipment, low level programming of radios and accessories, cable manufacturing and assisting with service and project related activities.

It will also involve performing service calls and installation activities on site in the field


You will work as part of a team and you will gain exposure to a range of world first technology within mission critical comms equipment.

You will also be provided with a career path of progression with uncapped opportunities for advancement.

On offer is a starting salary up to $80k + super + car allowance.

To be considered for the role the below criteria must be met:

  • Able to assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies as directed.
  • Experience working within a mechanical or electronic industry.
  • Any experience working with twoway radio's will be an advantage.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Ability to create wiring harnesses through assembly and soldering of cables/plugs.
  • Proficient use of soldering irons and desoldering stations, sidecutters, screwdrivers and other hand tools.


Genuine drive and self-motivation, along with an ability to work autonomously are essential traits, as is being a team player who wants to engage in an already thriving company culture.
