Account Manager - Assistant


Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity has become available for a highly motivated, customer focused and detail-oriented individual to join our Shared Services (Auto/Boats/Caravans) team.

In this role you will be responsible for providing support to State Account Managers and filling in for Account Managers nationally as needed.

Our team of Account Managers support Business Development Managers and manage and support vendors in the disposal of their assets.

Reporting to Nicole Adams (Shared Services Manager - Major Accounts & Emerging Categories) and working as part of a friendly and collaborative team, you'll be working in a high-energy, motivated, fast-paced environment.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a variety of projects and tasks to support the team nationally.
  • Whilst in a support Account Manager role efficiently managing the daytoday requests and requirements of the vendor's account, including payments.
  • Overseeing the vendors stock through the various sales channels, including quality control of presentation onsite/online.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Working extensively within AMS and the Grays website.
  • Providing excellent internal and external stakeholder service and communication.
  • Contributing to a positive and productive team culture.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A strong customer and relationship focus.
  • The ability to manage tasks, priorities and time effectively to meet expectations and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred, but not essential).
  • A proactive, adaptable, positive team attitude, including a willingness to jump in and assist others as needed.
