About the Role:

Provide sound professional advice on strategic water management issues, projects and opportunities relevant to the Green Adelaide Landscape Board's requirements as well as DEW's responsibilities
Water related projects are identified, established and implemented within agreed time frames and budgets and to a high quality. This includes participating in strategic Landscape Planning for the Green Adelaide landscape, and undertaking good project management and budgeting.
Reporting on waterrelated projects is undertaken within agreed time frames and to a high quality. This includes providing reports to the Green Adelaide Landscape Board, DEW Executive and the Government.
Effective relationships are proactively managed and maintained with key staff and stakeholders.
Leadership is provided to effectively manage a team of water management professionals.

Essential Qualifications:

Tertiary or Post Graduate qualification in Engineering, Science or Natural Resource Management discipline

Special Conditions:

May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
Current Class C driver's licence, and a willingness to drive, is essential.
Some outofhours work may be required as part of the position.
This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. You consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain a National Police Clearance (NPC).

Remuneration:

PO4, $109,060 min - $118,690 max p.a.
