Azure Networking Specialist

  • 6 month contract with extension possible
  • Major IT vendor and supplier for the core banks
  • Seeking an experienced Azure networking specialist to exceed client expectations


Our client is an Australian IT vendor and supplier for all of the core banks, who are growing their cloud and networking department to expand the scope and quality of the services they provide.


Key responsibilities:

  • The role involves a strong level of security and networking architecture as well as evaluating the current level of security of their systems
  • Recommend solutions to better enforce business processes and develop strategies to automate them with Azure stack
  • Day to day use of Microsoft defender and Sentinel.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Must have handon experience with Network Routing, Express Route, Azure VNets, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, Virtual Networks, Virtual Network Peering, and other Azure networking services.
  • Either 5 years of Aure Networking experience and/or Microsoft Azure certifications and vendor specific certifications CCNA, CCNP with 18+ months of experience
  • Have had Azure focused project work with proven track record of migrating workloads from onpremise to public/private or hybrid cloud environment.
