About the Role

Our Civil Asset Management Branch are seeking Civil Field Workers to assist in general construction and maintenance labouring, tasks with a focus on truck and plant operations.

This position is responsible for operation of Medium Rigid and Heavy Rigid trucks and steel wheeled rollers over 8 tonne.

Functioning within a high risk environment, this position holds a strong WH&S and enironmental protection emphasis, with the requirement to comply with work practices, eliminate or report hazardous conditions and utilise machinery per the manufacturer's recommendations.

You will also be required to assist on an ad-hoc basis with on-the-job coaching and be expected to utilise future advancements in IT, plant and equipment.

About you
A team player, you are competent in working with a high performing team to solve problems as they arise. You are an effective communicator & possess outstanding time management to work to tight deadlines.

You are vocationally qualified, with a Cert III in Civil Construction or equivalent industry experience, along with a Heavily Rigid driver's licence and construction industry White Card.

Your experience in and ability to operate relevant construction plant and machinery is pivotal to this position.

Physical agility to undertake labouring and frequent manoeuvring tasks is essential to your success as are licences and tickets for all equipment within the attached Position Profile.
