What's on offer?

Fulton Hogan is pleased to hold the Sydney Airport Grounds Maintenance Contract and we are seeking a new member to lead our team that perform the following works including landscaping, vegetation management, horticultural and arborist works, litter collection, pavement repairs, street sweeping, line marking, cleaning, civil works on both airside and landside locations, at Sydney Airport.

We are currently seeking a Landscape Team Leader to work across the day to manage the airport grounds. The hours are from 06.30am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for tasks including, however, not limited to;

Interpret Landscape Designs and Construction plans to construct landscape works
Delegate and manage staff in accordance with the landscape maintenance schedule
Complete work summary each shift. Manage time, productivity, and material record keeping
Provide Landscape guidance and leadership to Landscape Apprentices and Labourers.
Carry out variety of softscaping and hardscaping
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors works
Carrying out relevant works in accordance with WHS
Clear communication skills, liaising with management, supervisors and clients
Ensure that team has necessary tools and materials to accomplish projects
Ensure adherence to quality of work

How you'll connect to the role?

Must possess strong leadership skills with crew and ability to communicate effectively with management and clients to meet deadlines
Horticulture/landscaping experience
Construction induction White Card
HR Truck license (desirable)
Horticulture or Arborist certification (desirable)
Positions will need to undergo;_
Airside Security Induction Card, including Federal police and;
Fitness for work medical clearance
Sydney Airport Corporation and Fulton Hogan Induction
