THE TEAM


The Go to Market team is responsible for partnering with our Brand Partners and Commercial teams to lead the end-to-end process of translating the Brand plans along with data & insights into a national activation plan that is aligned to CCEP, the Environment, and our customers strategy, all in service of growing transactions, sales and profitability.


THE ROLE


This is a business-critical role responsible for setting the activation strategy and driving the National Activation Calendar for Independent Grocery.

You will work closely with all stakeholders to develop activations that align to category growth drivers as well as deliver against the shopper profile and mission, as well as the channel and CCEP strategy, engaging our shoppers on their path to purchase.


Reporting to the Head of Go to Market, you will play an integral role in the annual planning process, ensuring customer GTM plans are insight-led and align to strategy & business objectives.

This role will be accountable for the budgeting, measurement, stakeholder communication and delivery of the National Independent Grocery Activation with a focus to maximise transactions and ROI.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End to end development, alignment and delivery of initiatives and campaigns into our retailer partner stores.
  • Working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to implement and effectively execute National activity programs and initiatives in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Improve brand awareness and sales through innovative and impactful POS (Point of Sale) recommendations based on solving shopper problems.
  • Drive strategic approach to the implementation of retail POS across national accounts, based on shopper insights.
  • Lead development and alignment of results driven metrics to measure success of all activity.
  • Develop national sellin materials for major campaign launches (Local Launch Plans / Initiative Decks) and collaborate with Category and Portfolio team to ensure sufficiency of plan.
  • Collaborate closely with the Go to Market executive to ensure effective development and management of overall Go to Market timelines, national activation calendar, management routines and operational delivery of GTM plans to meet key business objectives.
  • Day to day management of partner agencies, collaborating with marketing services team to ensure effective management and alignment with long term relationship objectives.
  • Facilitate budget allocation (DME) and tracking for initiatives/campaigns.

ABOUT YOU

  • A qualification in Marketing, Business or similar degree is looked at favourably
  • 5+ years of relevant sales or shopper marketing experience in FMCG or retail industry.
  • Understanding of FMCG grocery industry best practices and leverage learnings from other categories or markets
  • Proven Shopper experience, analysing and leveraging data for powerful insights.
  • High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically & strategically.
  • Experience in effectively influencing cross functional and multidimensional teams.
  • Sales/Commercial acumen and leadership skills.
  • Strong influencing, presentation and negotiation skills, and confidence working directly with senior business leaders to influence long term strategies.
  • Execution and/or project management experience.
  • A proven track record of delivery & ability to work autonomously.
  • Highly organised individual with attention to detail and a proven track record of project delivery.
