Job description: - The Department of Health is seeking suitably qualified applicants for a Registrar
- Medical Oncology vacancy.
- Medical Oncology vacancy.
The Medical Oncology position would suit trainees in palliative medicine, general medicine, also potentially meeting accredited core training in Medical Oncology.
Salary
$131,000 - $183,500 per annum

Period of Employment
Fixed term, full time day work, 76 hours (+10 hours protected training time) per fortnight, commencing 5 August 2024 to 3 February months negotiable).

Duties
The Registrar is responsible for the day to day management of public inpatients and outpatients within the Hospital and provides on call cover for the Medical Oncology unit as well as infrequent after-hours emergency cover at the hospital.
Essential Requirements
- General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).

a) Crimes of Violence
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty
