Meka Recruitment are working with a large manufacturing and distribution company and due to their growth and expansion they are looking for a full time Maitenance fitter to join their team in Eagle farm.


This company is a family owned and operated business that has a strong focus on team culture and work life balance, with Monthly RDOS and team building exercises.

This position is Monday to Friday work from 6am-2pm with weekly overtime available.

About the role

  • Working to maintain the plant & ancillary equipment.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work safety, practices, and procedures.
  • Participating in root cause analysis activities
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
  • Commitment to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks
  • Trade Qualified Fitter and Turner
  • Minimum 5 years experience outside of your apprenticeship.
  • Open QLD licence and own transport to get to and from work
  • Relevant mechanical and fabrication experience
  • Previous experience or exposure to in the production or manufacturing environment
