    About the National School of Allied Health:

    Operating within the Faculty of Health Sciences, the national School of Allied Health is located on six of the university's campuses: Brisbane, Strathfield, North Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Ballarat and is responsible for delivery of programs in four professional disciplines:

    • Occupational Therapy
    • Speech Pathology
    • Physiotherapy
    • Social Work / Human Services.

    About Social Work:

    The Social Work Program at ACU offers a Bachelor of Social Work (Pass and Honours) and a Master of Social Work (qualifying) on three campuses (Brisbane, Canberra, Strathfield). These programs are accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers. Full course details can be accessed through the ACU website

    About the role:

    As a Lecturer in Social Work, you'll contribute to the implementation of the Bachelor and Master of Social Work programs including Field Education, by delivering excellence in teaching and curriculum development and scholarship of learning and teaching. You'll undertake teaching and curriculum development in both undergraduate and postgraduate social work courses, while building relationships with community, government and professional organisations to develop a range of student placement opportunities and support the practicum needs of the school.

    • Total remuneration valued to $134,709 - $158,885 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $113,831 - $134,397 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
    • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
    • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
