The Position
You are a versatile individual who can work as a driver for collections/deliveries

Operating from our Belmont warehouse, this is a part time position with shifts worked Tuesdays & Thursdays 6.30am - 2.30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and deliver produce as per instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor
• Drive the SecondBite vehicle and carry out collections including loading and unloading the vehicle and providing assistance in the warehouse as required
• Liaise with food donors to maximise the potential effectiveness of the program
• Adhere to all SecondBite OH&S policies and manual handling standards
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and maintained at all times
• Undertake any other duties within the scope of your skills and experience, as directed by Warehouse Supervisor or State Operations Manage

Qualifications & Experience (Key Selection Criteria)

• A current unrestricted Driver's License (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT)
• MR Truck License (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT HR Licence desirable)
• A current Forklift License (desirable)
• Experience in deliveries, warehousing, food safety will be favourably regarded
• Empathetic approach to the issues surrounding nutritional poverty and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
• Basic data entry skills
• Good customer service skills which can help develop positive relationships with donors
