About the position

The City of Gosnells Engineering Operations Team is offering an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced and self-motivated individual to carry out concreting, brick paving and other duties to construct and maintain the City's pedestrian and road network.

This is a permanent position and is based at the City's Operations Centre in Maddington.

What we are looking for

To be successful, you will have:

strong work ethic and a positive attitude

- the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant industry experience and sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction and maintenance practices.
A sound knowledge of concrete set up and finishing, brick paving, laying and cutting construction/maintenance techniques and standards.
The ability to read plans and calculate quantitates to order materials.
