NDMHS) is looking for experienced _
Disability Support Workers _with good communication skills and can speak Cantonese or Mandarin language_.

_

The company provides a wide range of services to individuals with a disability and their families. We provide services across Sydney and have many positions available.


Opportunities available in Strathfield, Ashfield, Blacktown, Granville. Maroubra, Randwick.

The listed job is in Strathfield for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

10:30am-1:30pm (plus max of 30mins travel allowance can be approved). Additional clients will also be assigned to work for longer hours depending on your availability.

Applicants must be authorized to work in Australia, must have Valid Driving License (Australian or International) and reliable car.


The Role:


We are looking to recruit someone who is motivated to provide a range of flexible supports to people with a disability.

We are seeking someone who is experienced and passionate and have a positive attitude to support individuals in leading a more independent and fulfilled life.

You will have the ability to assist people with:

  • Personal care
  • Community engagement
  • Domestic assistance
  • Learning support
  • Behaviour Management & Intervention

Core objectives include:


  • Provide support to patients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
  • Understand and provide appropriate care to patients with low needs to patients with high needs
who demonstrate a range of challenging behaviours.

  • Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment
  • Work under general guidance from the person seeking support, and their family, within clearly
defined guidelines.

  • Providing personal care to people with disabilities

Requirements:


  • Current CPR & First Aid (OR willing to obtain before joining)
  • Working With Children Check (OR willing to obtain before joining)
  • NDIS Worker Check (OR willing to obtain before joining)
  • Insured car & valid driving license.
  • Manual Handling certificate (OR willing to obtain after joining)

Weekly hours: 10-40

Pay rate $32.75-$74.22 per hour.
