$85,320 to $95,880 per annum plus 15.4% super

About the role:

An excellent opportunity for a dynamic and professional Recruitment Officer/Advisor.

The Recruitment Team is responsible for continuously implementing the department's talent acquisition strategy, working across the branch and business areas to contribute to the department's objective to attract, retain and develop the right people for the right jobs at the right time.

Duties

Provide tailored advice, options and solutions for complex recruitment and other HR matters.
Manage complex advertising, including high profile opportunities and bulk recruitment.
Lead the development, updating and planning of new and existing guidelines, frameworks and policies.
Handle escalated issues, inquiries and tasks.
Design, gather, analyse and interpret data to assist with the preparation and development of reports.
Provide support to HR colleagues to assist with development and succession planning.
Lead, manage and deliver project work (i.e. process improvements).

Required experience/skills

Excellent written communication skills and high attention to detail.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a proactive way under pressure and with limited direction to meet tight timeframes.
Ability to interpret HRrelated issues, legislation and Australian Public Service (
APS) employment frameworks.
Experience working with HR / recruitment focused systems such as ServiceNow, eRecruit, Aurion or similar systems.
