Clerk Grade 1-2 Salary - ($67,975 - $73,901) + Super and Leave Loading

The Supreme Court
The Supreme Court is the superior civil, criminal and appellate court within NSW.

The Judges of the Court also comprise the Court of Appeal and Court of Criminal Appeal in addition to the exercise of judicial powers in common law (including criminal law) and equity (including probate and commercial) matters.

The Registry within this court provides a wide range of services to Court users and the NSW community, and support services to the judiciary.


What you'll do


The Client Services Officer provides a wide range of clerical and administrative support services to meet the needs of clients, including responding to routine client enquiries, data entry and records management.

This role will support the efficient operation of the Court, including liaising effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and complying with the Court's service standards.


Providing a high level of service, information and guidance to clients, members of the public, the legal profession and other government agencies this role will anticipate the requirements of the judiciary and other key stakeholders in and outside the courtroom and provide a timely and effective response.

The client service officer will also be responsible for preparing files for court and processes court documents (including subpoena material and exhibits) and court outcomes.

  • Strong written, verbal and numeracy skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Those who are proficient in technology and able to learn different systems efficiently
  • Those who display initiative and can provide accurate, timely and consistent information to clients and the court in a highvolume work environment
  • Those who can adapt to different jurisdictions when required
