Description

A full-time permanent role in Northern part of Sydney within a well-established independent early childhood centre specialising in early childhood teaching, playtime and activities and facilitating kids between 0-12.

For an Early Childhood educator, interested to provide exceptional and friendly space for kids in the area of Enfield.

  • Requires Cert III or Diploma in early childhood education
  • Based in Northern part of Sydney

A normal day will have you:

  • Prepare the classroom and greet parents and children.
  • Conduct morning circle time for songs and group discussions.
  • Plan and organize ageappropriate activities and lessons.
  • Lead small group activities and promote skill development.
  • Facilitate free play and monitor children's behaviour.
  • Assist with mealtimes and promote healthy habits.
  • Help with toileting and personal hygiene routines.
  • Communicate with parents about child's progress and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress.

You will need

  • Cert III or Diploma in early childhood education
  • Current working with children's check
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
