The Parklife Metro Consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.


This city shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership, will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.


WeBuild as a D&C Contractor member, will be responsible for the successful delivery of the design and construction elements of the project, and we are currently looking for a Health and Safety Administrator to join the team.


Key Responsibilities:


The role of a Safety Administrator is to provide effective administration support to the Health & Safety Team and to contribute to the successful and safe delivery of the project.


You may be responsible for:

  • Assisting HSE team in the preparation of safety documentation and maintaining accurate records on the safety system for certifications, audits and monitoring, meeting minutes and actions
  • The management of sitebased incident management system
  • Compiling data for safety initiatives and distributing actions and minutes to stakeholders. Liaise with Subcontractors on Site ensuring that they are compliant in safety systems
  • Maintaining a high visibility across the workplace building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports and agendas.
  • Coordinating projectbased training, distribution of materials to the project team, promote safety initiatives and assisting with training workshops and programs.
  • Updating policies, processes and other documentation as required, in line with naming conventions and version control processes and distribute to the project team.

Key Requirements for the role:


  • Qualification in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or equivalent desirable but not essential or some experience in WHS or within the construction industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with the team, the client, and key stakeholders
  • Understanding of current health and safety legislation, procedures, processes, and best practices
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities in a high volume work environment
