The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management of our warehouse operations.

The Warehouse Lead will work closely with the Director of Operations to strategically plan warehouse operations using data for continuous improvement.

Additionally, the Warehouse Lead serves as the 2IC for the broader warehouse departments providing support and leadership to the Warehouse teams in the absence of the Director of Operations.

The Warehouse Lead is a critical position that helps set the tone, pace, and overall direction of the DC operations in collaboration with the Director of Operations.

The Warehouse Lead is expected to deliver operational excellence, proactively look for areas to improve efficiency, create plans to drive results, and manage the performance of their direct reports.


What You'll Be Responsible For:


  • Direct the outbound operations to ensure accurate and timely picking/shipping processes of all orders with maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure all orders have been dispatched within SLA
  • Develop and successfully implement strategies and programs that will dramatically increase efficiencies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Provide daytoday leadership and oversight of the DC Assistants team including the daily allocation and monitoring of tasks and duties.
  • Direct the DC Assistants to ensure accurate and timely put away process, consolidation, cycle counts and stock movement throughout the warehouse.
  • Working with the merchandising team, coordinate the pickup & supplier returns of stock from vendor locations.
  • Ensure all deliveries are received and sorted within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure the DC Assistants team is appropriately rostered and trained to accomplish all assigned tasks and planned workload.
  • Run reports for inventory management and floor plan optimisation (eg. Best Sellers, Quarantine, Slow Moving, Replenishment, evergreen and movement errors)
  • Work collaboratively with the People & Culture Coordinator to develop, implement, and maintain a robust occupational health and safety program in the warehouse and across the entire site (inclusive of the warehouse, office, and outdoor areas).
  • Identify and lead the process improvement process and broader culture across all warehouse teams including the identification and prioritization of initiatives, including, but not limited to, sustainability, waste reduction, customer experience improvement, and staffing efficiency.
  • Work crossfunctionally with other leaders in the organization to achieve the broader organizational goals (i.e., growth targets, UPH, EBITDA, NPS, CSAT).
  • Assist with crossfunctional task forces designed to improve business outcomes.

What We Require (Qualifications):


  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field. An equivalent amount of professional work experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Six (6) to ten (10) years of demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility, with at least two (2) years of experience directly managing others.
  • Eight (8) to twelve (12) years of demonstrated experience in a variety of functions with a preference for experience in customerfacing operations, distribution/fulfilment operations, or retail/ecommerce operations.
  • Prior experience in all of the following: Ecommerce Tools (i.e., Shopify) Enterprise Applications (ERP, WMS, Productivity Tools
  • GSuite, O365) Business Intelligence Tools
  • Knowledge of Domestic & International Freight, Tariffs, and Imports/Exports Reverse Logistics
