About the role
As the Administration Officer, you'll create a safe, welcoming environment for residents who have faced adversity, homelessness, and trauma.
Your role involves diverse administrative tasks, including staff rostering, onboarding, financial support for residents, and day-to-day assistance to the Community Manager.
Your work will be vital in maintaining a smooth operation that aligns with Sacred Heart Mission's values and trauma-informed philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Catering to resident needs and requests throughout the day
- Managing staff roster adjustments
- Planning future rosters
- Greeting and assisting visitors
- Coordinating with Care staff regarding residents' upcoming appointments
- Handling and directing incoming phone calls
- Collaborating with the finance department and People and Culture to ensure timely approval of timesheets.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrates excellent organization and time management abilities, with the capacity to work independently
- Embodies compassion, initiative, and respects confidentiality
- Previous experience in an Administration based role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Demonstrate resilience
