  • Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer
  • Healthy Ageing, the General Manager
  • Clinical Leadership will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the Healthy Ageing business of Mercy Health which comprises Residential Aged Care (RAC), Home Care (HC) and Seniors Living (SL) business portfolios.
  • In this role, you will lead a small team of clinical and education/training staff and will contribute to the leadership team to deliver on the strategic and operational requirements of the business. You will be acting as a clinical expert for any new services or acquisitions. You will develop or improve models of care to ensure high levels of clinical standards across the business division, supporting the delivery of safe, residentfocused clinical care. You will be also mentoring clinical managers and clinical care advisors and will support the development of workforce initiatives to enhance recruitment & retention efforts for clinical staff.
  • This is a fulltime (76 hrs per fortnight), permanent position based at our Richmond office with travel to other Mercy sites required. Hybrid working arrangements (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) are available.

ABOUT YOU:


  • Registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse Div
  • Relevant post graduate qualifications
  • Significant experience in senior management roles, overseeing large, complex clinical services
  • Demonstrated ability to and experience in leading and managing large change initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in improving the education and training outcomes for staff
  • Experience working in a multisite, notforprofit aged care provider organisation is desirable.
