About the Role

Are you passionate about fostering strong relationships and driving business growth? BOQ Specialist is seeking a Relationship Manager within our Broker Channel to join our team.

In this role, you will be the pillar between our Bank and our network of professional Brokers.

  • Prospect for, attract and win profitable customer relationships through building quality relationships within the commercial SME Health. The target market will be SME health segment.
  • You will be supported by colleagues in our Corporate, Residential, and other specialist teams, to allow you to focus on the SME Health segment
  • Build external brand BOQ Business Brand awareness amongst Commercial Brokers and Aggregators within the Australian Market
  • Ongoing management of existing portfolio of broker introduced clients.

Key Accountabilities:


  • Asset and Revenue Growth of BOQ Specialist balance sheet.
  • Write Commercial Lending, Asset Finance deals, in line with BOQ Specialist policy and credit.
  • Building strong relationships with aggregators and commercial brokers.
  • Maintain Pipeline and reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Developed relationship management experience internally and externally and passion for exceeding client expectations.
  • Internal Stakeholder Management working with the Business Development Manager's, State Manager's, Relationship Managers, credit teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required. Presentations to large audiences required at Aggregator conferences, and Broker lending updates.

Your strategic thinking allows you to identify opportunities for growth and contribute effectively to any team. Overall, your unique blend of skills and experience positions you to drive success in various endeavours.
