This is a great opportunity to join a well regarded manufacturer that is experiencing growth and refinement during an exciting period.

This role will combine your operational HS&E experience with your ability to partner with stakeholders and business leaders to proactively deal with the HS&E agenda.

You will coordinate a unified and consistent approach to HS&E across this business to achieve best practice.


You will:

  • Up skill management teams and build upon the organisation's safety culture.
  • Ensure relevant state legislation is effectively implemented and followed.
  • Provide legislative and work related safety advice, risk assessments,incident investigations and safety procedures.
  • Identify, assess and recommend suitable and reasonable risk control solutions for workplace hazards within the company's policy and state legal framework.
  • Minimise the environmental impact of the business and its operations.
  • Ensure compliance to Fire control, Insurance, Flood, Hazardous and Flammable Materials regulations.
  • Developing and maintaining effective professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner the management team to encourage safe and thorough HS&E practices and drive initiatives to comply with audit findings.
  • Manage all HS&E and workers compensation matters oversee claims management processes.
This position will suit a strong communicator who is lives the values and influences outcomes. Working closely with stakeholders and one direct report, you will act in a business partnering capacity. Previous experience in a manufacturing, scientific or a health environment will be highly regarded. You will draw on your experiences working in environments where compliance is critical in meeting business goals. Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety preferred.
