    Job Title: Boilermaker Welder

    Location: FIFO ex Perth

    Salary: $65ph + Super + $50 daily meal allowance

    • Workshop environment
    • Fabricate and repair both stationary and mobile equipment
    • FIFO exit Perth 2:1 roster

    About the role and client:

    As a boilermaker welder for our client, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing both stationary and mobile equipment. This includes tasks like marking, cutting, assembling, and welding structural steel, platework, and wear components.

    The primary objective will be to minimise plant downtime by efficiently servicing machinery and accurately identifying faults. You'll be instrumental in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

    • Workshop environment
    • Working on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
    • Must be experienced with FCAW, GMAW, GTAW AND MMAW
    • Working with Guillotine, break press & cropper

    Benefits:

    Skills and Experience:

    • Australian Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent
    • Experience within a heavy industry with a background in mining
    • Must have workshop experience, currently working in a workshop or at least 5 years experience in a workshop
    • Current WA Drivers Licence – HR Drivers Licence would be advantageous
    • White Card, Forklift, working at heights, dogging tickets
    • Able to read and understand mechanical and shop detail drawings
    • Extensive fabrication, repair and maintenance experience
    • Practical communication, leadership and team building abilities
