- Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Undertake and pass all necessary weld qualifications in required weld processes
- Perform the welding of steel components in all positions
- Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG, SAW
- Fit up and adequately tack weld steel components with correct dimensions, edge preparations, weld preparations, weld gaps and to tolerance indicated in engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
- Mobile plant experience is necessary for a couple of the clients we have currently. Experience with buckets and trays is highly regarded (Especially Fabrication)
- AU Trade Certificate in Fabrication/Welding (Foreign Trade is accepted in some cases)
- Previous records of passed welder qualifications (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 2 years with similar Welding & Fabrication processes, specifications and standards
- Be able to pass a Medical & das.
- Must be able to pass a 3G FCAW Weld Test.

Our clients are located SOR and are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join their team. The successful applicant will have experience in workshops and be willing to perform diverse duties as required.

We have multiple clients in the Marine and fixed plant industry Aswell.
