The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Administrative Officer (Mail Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Coordinate the ordering of Australia Post Mail i.e, express, registered envelopes and labels to be purchased by the various departments
  • Report monthly cost requisition charges of mail supplies purchased by the hospital departments
  • Record daily excel data of all registered/express/tracked articles incoming and outbound
  • Redirect inpatient mail on HBCIS (hospital database)
About you


To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against COVID 1
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary

  • Permanent part time (16 hrs p.f).
  • Base salary ranging from $ $32.54 per hour

The mail room at both Gold Coast University Hospital (Southport) and Robina are both part of the wide Patient Services Team which includes main reception at GCUH and Robina, Lost Property and Patient Travel/Medical Aids which falls under Central Service.
