Public Sector People are currently seeking an Urban Designer for a contract role with a Local Council in Western Sydney.

Reporting into the Team Leader of Urban Design the purpose of the position is to be working on upcoming Masterplans to support planning proposals.

You will manage and coordinate the review, monitoring and development of design guidelines, policies, strategies, and plans.

This will be an initial 12-month temporary contract assignment with the opportunity for an extension. Pending performance and budget there may be the opportunity to extend the contract length.

Experience in report writing.
Experience using software's such as: Illustrator, InDesign and SketchUp
Have a creative eye to produce aesthetic Graphical presentations.
