We are currently seeking Trade Assistants to start IMMEDIATELY._

In the role, you will have to be able to:

Commitment to safety and quality
Reliability and strong work ethic
Problem solves, able to think on your feet and be proactive.
Good timekeeping and organisational skills
Attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written using the English language.
Read and interpret routine information on written job instructions and standard operating procedures, which may include simple drawings.
Follow verbal and written instructions.
Be physically fit and active with the ability to work on your feet for hours and safely lift up to 20kg.
Understanding of OHS and Environmental legislation.
Knowledge of OHS, Environmental and Quality System requirements.

Criteria to be successful in the role:

Completion of Year 10 High School Certificate
Machine setup skills & operation of hand & power tools.
Previous related experience within an engineering / manufacturing workshop

Preference but not essential:

Completion of Year 12 High School Certificate
Certificate II Engineering or Manufacturing Processes
Forklift license

Before commencing employment, you will be required to complete a full functional pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
