As the demand for data and insights continues to rise, we are seeking an enthusiastic and flexibleScrum Master.
In this role, you will be responsible for fostering and facilitating the agile team's adoption of agile frameworks, eliminating obstacles and barriers, and ensuring the successful implementation of new initiatives and improvements.
We have a dedicated team at the Metcash Group that plays a vital role in harnessing data as a strategic, accessible, and valuable asset.
What you'll do
- Promote and support teams' continuous improvement in quality and delivery output.
- Build and maintain relationships with Scrum teams, and other internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organisational project or product teams.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to engage, inform, influence and negotiate with stakeholders about priorities of the team/project using product backlogs as the basis for discussions.
- Coach the Agile Team to be selforganising and cross functional.
- Promote teamlevel metrics (that support continuous improvement)
- Assess capability maturity per Sprint.
- Ensure that the knowledge embedded within the team contributes to & leverages the content within
- Report status and updates to Portfolio lead and lead the team's preparation into PI Planning
What you'll bring
- Experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean
- Extensive knowledge of The Scrum Guide, The Agile Manifesto, and the 12 Agile Principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team using agile ways of working.
- Understanding of planning in an empirical environment
- Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to solve problems assisting the business in decisions through use of analytical tools.
- Support the product owner to find effective techniques for backlog management.
