Job Description:


Responsible for achievement of Program technical, revenue and cost objectives and establishment and management of customer and internal and external team relationships.

Assists Business Development, Sales and Product Development activities by conducting feasibility analyses of potential programs.

Feasibility studies include market analysis, production and delivery capability, impact on other Company programs and projects, risk assessment, and financial objectives (e.g., revenue, profit, earned value, ROI).

Programs should also fit into the company's overall strategic plan

Strong Commercial acumen to support and drive opportunity development and program management.

Implements all Program policies and procedures (including the Program Lifecycle Management PLM process) and applies Company's decision criteria for accepting and rejecting programs.

Organizes and coordinates activities that may include manufacturing, engineering, planning, maintenance, R&D, to effect program efficiency and effectiveness. Analyzes budget estimates against program goals and price/cost objectives, and contributes to approved budgets. Tracks program progress via earned value or similar method


Prepares detailed program plan and schedule, presents to senior management, and receives approval or makes revisions to receive approval to initiate the program.

Ensure detailed program and project implementation and actions plans are created with initiatives of efficient resource deployment and coordinate with RSM to identify the lead FSE for execution of program works.

Duties & Responsibilities


What you'll do:

  • Support the Sales team in the development of the opportunity brief and the original cost file for RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc
  • Ensure programs and projects have requirements documented and agreed to ensure that project activity meets agreed project objectives.
  • Ensure monitoring of progress against all projects is timely and accurate and enables sponsors and stakeholders to have visibility and sufficient information to make the required decisions.
  • Effectively reports program status to all stakeholders, including metrics and change control. Prepares and presents periodic status reports and retain documentation.
  • Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are being recorded, monitored and proactively managed to minimise disruption to successful delivery
  • Drive the implementation and adherence to the PLP and participate in program and project reviews, approvals
  • Be a champion of the organisation's Program and Project Delivery Approach
  • Provide inputs and validate the order entry process for relevant Program activities, through creation of Comm. sheets and engagement with OTI and other stakeholders

  • Ensure Program reporting and forecasting is timely and accurate and Program and Project variances in scope, cost, time and quality are resolved
  • Provide leadership over external suppliers, with responsibility for timeline, scope of services, milestone payments, costs and margin
  • Establish third party vendors as required for Program delivery
  • Responsible for program budget
- including, cash flow planning and ongoing reconciliation of quotes vs invoices for Program services

  • Ensure all reporting processes support mandatory global and regional Program and Project requirements and governance
  • Encourage knowledge transfer and lessons learnt activities within the program teams to drive best practice and enhance Financial & Benefits Realisation
  • Ensure post project reviews are in place and lessons learned exercises identify both positive and negative outcomes to be actioned
  • Responsible for Program close processes including formal Programs to Service handover and control formal lessons learned
  • Serves as the key contact with program customer(s) and maintain pos
