This role provides technical training and technical support and advice to Dealers and CEA Branches regarding CEA products distributed by CEA.

Keeps up to date with new product releases, provides technical advice and training on existing products, and uses an assortment of reference materials to ensure that customer needs are met.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop and implement training to the Branch and Dealer network covering the CEA product range.
  • Manage technical enquiries received from our Branch network and external customers as required
  • To be the point of contact for Branch Parts a Service staff when technical support is required throughout Australia.
  • Liaise with international OEM's to support field related product issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Company procedures and in a safe manner.
  • Submit weekly activity reports to management and team members as required.
  • Identify the technical training required for Branch technicians and prepare a suitable training calendar and programs to support the learning experience.
  • Liaison with major customers to support the Sales process for New equipment as and when appropriate, be involved in new product hand overs and customer training as required.
  • Provide constructive feedback to CEA in regard to product enhancement concepts.
  • Contribute to the arrangements and communications strategies for managing OH&S risks in the workplace.
  • Work closely with parts team members and assist with parts support activities.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Technical service background with strong engineering technical aptitude
  • Proven ability to work with diagnostic information to rectify faults
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate personnel
  • Effective team building skills
  • Customer Service focus
  • Ability to research the latest technical developments on the range of CEA products
  • Strong PC skill set
  • Ability to demonstrate high level skills in communicating with all relevant parties.
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process engineering or similar discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar role
