Description

Join a high performing global team and experience a variety of event projects including client entertainment, conferences, virtual and hybrid events, roadshows, staff engagement, sponsorship activations and trade stand execution.

You will use your skills and experience to manage small to large scale events, whether that be in-person, hybrid or online.

Technically savvy, you'll work with a variety of platforms such as Cvent, Zoom and Touchcast depending on the stakeholder requirements.

You'll also have the opportunity to host live and on-demand virtual events via Macquarie's fully equipped in-house Studio.

You will be responsible for managing your own projects to ensure the business objectives are achieved.

This may include proposal pitching, contract negotiation, pre-event planning, management of budgets, creation and management of risk assessments, mobile app development, execution onsite and post-event reporting.

You will also work as part of a team to deliver larger projects which are often staffed across our global team.

To be successful in this role you have previous experience in a similar event marketing role (minimum 7 years). You are highly organised and have excellent time management skills. You will work well under pressure and be able to manage a busy workload, conflicting priorities and deadlines effectively. You appreciate that the position requires flexibility to work after hours at events. You will be resourceful and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to go beyond the scope of the usual job description.

Prior experience using Cvent (or similar) event management platform will be an advantage.
