Lead a small team as a
Team Leader - Water Quality Distribution to provide a service that is in the interest of public health across WA.

Such a meaningful and impactful opportunity to make sure that our drinking water is safe for our community and is aligned with the health requirements.

Public health is the pinnacle driver in this role and team. You will be at the forefront of ensuring safe water quality supply to our customers.


You will support the business to ensure that our drinking water quality requirements are met across all our water supply schemes.

Your next role will lead a team of technical experts in water quality to support operations to deliver safe water quality in accordance with our health requirements.


With Department of Health being a key stakeholder and as the regulator, you will often liaise with them in providing confidence and assurance that the water supply is fit for purpose and safe to drink.

A good day is everything running smoothly, with our well-established water quality plans and procedures in place. Your role may however, deal with escalated water quality incidents, within the distribution and supply network.

You will communicate with operations and health department to provide information on issues identified and the strategies and plans to implement solutions and ensure continued supply of safe drinking water to our customers.


You will provide technical advice to the wider business (mainly but not limited to regional water quality technical advisors, operations, and engineering) on water quality matters that support our internal and external commitments.

If there is an issue, the business will know what to do because you had the ability to embed the principles.

Working in a close team of different skillsets and strengths, you will be able to lean on each other for support.

You will be able to influence and inspire with the different diverse individual specialities and talents.


A little bit about you.


You will have a degree level or higher in scientific field such as chemistry, microbiology, or a relevant engineering discipline.

As this role is to lead a team, you will also have considerable leadership experience within a technical team.
