Job Description:


Toll Group are seeking a highly efficient and organised Transport Scheduler to join our Resources team based in Kewdale W.A to manage and facilitate the total fleet scheduling activities for Toll's regional mining contracts.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the timely and cost-effective transportation of materials and equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.

As the transport Scheduler, you will:

  • Schedule and track transportation activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and timely operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and repair teams to schedule maintenance activities for transport vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in transportation operations.
  • Communicate with drivers, operators, and other stakeholders to provide necessary instructions and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation activities, including vehicle logs, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules and fatigue management.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in transport planning, scheduling or allocating highly desirable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification; bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • To be able to work a on call roster (1 weekend every 3 weeks).
  • Proficiency in using computer programs such as Microsoft Office (excel)
  • A focus on safety regulations and compliance requirements in transportation (DG knowledge highly regarded).
