About the Role:


Our Client supplies world leading Construction Equipment brands through sales and hire of their equipment throughout four countries in the World and in addition, they also have a comprehensive after-sales divisions for servicing and parts.


A newly created position is now available for a driven and conscientious person to join their team and be responsible for the internal parts and stores processes.

This position will be based in a workshop environment where you will be managing a small stores area and working alongside the Workshop Staff to ensure the accurate and efficient ordering, sourcing and stocking of parts for their workshop team.


If you are mechanically minded and/or have an interest in anything Automotive along with warehouse experience, that would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will need to pride themselves on their excellent attention to detail and possess the willingness to add value to their role and this growing business.

Duties:


  • Checking and putting away of stock orders
  • Maintaining an accurate and clean warehouse
  • Maintaining a safe workplace by complying with all health and safety legislation
  • Stocktake & Inventory cycle counts
  • Interpreting parts requests from the Workshop
  • Taking care of the transfer and overall delivery of parts to workshop
  • Transferring parts back from workshop and locating them when no longer needed.

Skills and Experience:


  • Professional Phone Manner essential
  • A high level of computer skills
  • Mechanically minded and/or an interest in heavy machinery
  • Positive, friendly, cando attitude
  • Hard worker, who is honest and reliable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Forklift licence or the ability to obtain a licence
  • Drivers Licence
  • Physically fit, with the ability to undertake heavy lifting
  • MUST be in Australia and have full working rights.
