HR Generalist
Our HR Assist Client Service Officers provide the first point of contact for resolving the department's HR issues. Our team are experienced in providing advice and recommendations that have been thoroughly researched. They undertake procedural and operational tasks and have a strong client focus and a passion for helping people.


Work Health and Safety


The APS 4 Work Health and Safety Officer undertakes Work Health and Safety (WHS) operational activities and provides WHS advice and support to Departmental employees, including actioning WHS requests for equipment and assessments, processing of invoices and administrative support.

The role will also assist with coordinating activities such as flu vaccinations, the First Aid and Health and Safety Representative Officer networks, training and allowances and Mental Health Week.


Diversity and Inclusion and Performance Adviser


This area is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the AGD Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and associated action plans including the department's Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, Disability and Mental Health Action Plan and People and Culture Action Plan.

The role undertakes performance and diversity operational activities and provides advice and support to employees on performance and diversity issues.

The role also assists with activities such as Departmental and Australia Day awards, secretariat support to diversity working groups and support to progressing initiatives in the department's diversity and inclusion strategy and associated action plans.


Recruitment


As a Recruitment Officer you will drive the end to end recruitment lifecycle and work as part of a team delivering recruitment solutions in an innovative and evolving work environment.

This work is critical in ensuring the Department has the appropriate talent and resourcing required to carry out our priority work.

You will also have the opportunity to play an active role in supporting the delivery of actions from the Workforce Strategy which have been identified as a key transformation initiative for the department.


Employment Programs
The Employment Programs team coordinates several entry-level pathway programs for people seeking a career in the department.

The role is responsible for providing operational support to the Employment Programs team, including assisting with event planning and management, scheduling and booking learning and development, recruitment administration, responding to queries from Employment Program participants and assisting with their performance assessment coordination, travel and relocation administration.
