An exciting opportunity to be part of the Regulatory Transaction Services team at Consumer Affairs Victoria.

  • VPSG2 classification (pay range $55,439 - $71,194) plus superannuation
  • Full-time ongoing position

About the organization:

Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) is the consumer regulator in Victoria, striving for a fair and competitive marketplace.

The Regulatory Transaction Services (RTS) division offers licensing and registration services to Victorians.

About the role:

As a Regulatory Officer reporting to the RTS Team Leader, you will be responsible for executing tasks accurately and timely in compliance with legislation and operational policies related to CAV's licensing and registration schemes. In addition, you will provide information to clients verbally and in writing and maintain CAV's records databases efficiently.


Key responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks related to RTS' regulatory activities, ensuring high-quality services are delivered to clients
  • Maintain electronic records in line with operational policies and departmental guidelines

About you:

  • Strong customer focus to understand and address customer needs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Good problem-solving skills to resolve issues following established guidelines
