Building Certifier | Surveyors Sydney

working across a variety of commercial and industrial projects
carrying out assessments of Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Occupation Certificates, Crown Certificates and Building Code of Australia assessments

carrying out critical stage inspections
providing building compliance advice to a wide range of clients
investigating and resolving customer requests
involved in business improvement strategies
assisting in mentoring junior staff
representing at industry events, functions and seminars as required
attending client meetings

About you:
Our ideal applicants for our Commercial Building Certifier | Surveyor roles you will hold:
a unrestricted registration (former A1); or
a restricted (all class building) registration (former A2)

with NSW Fair Trading and who can lead, assist, and manage a large variety of Class 2 to 9 building projects.

Along with your registration, you will ideally have knowledge and experience in commercial building certification.

For this role, you will bring a pro-active approach, strong communication skills and resilience, to enable you to develop positive working relationships and provide first-class service for our customers.

You will also bring to the role:

strong safety focus computer skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe and the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.

Experience with MAC operating system advantageous. High level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task whilst keeping projects on track
a high attention to detail
excellent problem-solving skills and the desire to find alternative solutions
demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
a valid drivers license and full working rights for Australia (i.e. Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold appropriate visa).
