About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Education Consultants to work at the Victoria Police Academy.

The Quality Education Division (QED) supports learning and development in the People Development Command (PDC) by providing advice and support in the delivery of quality educational products and maintaining the quality and compliance of all PDC education programs including nationally recognised qualifications on the scope of registration of the Victoria Police Registered Training Organisation It also coordinates professional development activities for its educators and assists Victoria Police design and develop learning programs for specialist areas of the organisation.

Your duties will include:


  • Designing innovative educational products
  • Working with Subject Matter Experts including Victoria Police members
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities
  • Designing surveys to measure the effectiveness of training programs
  • Providing advice and guidance on research activities such as Job Role Analysis and Training Needs Analysis

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 is highly desirable
  • Excellent analysis and problemsolving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to engage and build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • High level organisation and time management skills.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly desirable)

Requirements and relevant information:


  • Two Fixed Term positions available until 30/06/202
  • The positions are located at Victoria Police Academy, 1 View Mount Road, Glen Waverley.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
