Job Description Summary


Reporting into the Head of Learning, the L&D Advisor will be responsible for understanding the internal customers training needs, developing training solutions, ensuring delivery of the training to the level of customer expectations, and is continuously looking for ways to improve the offerings.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Understanding the training requirements, gathering the customer brief, delivering a solution and ensuring the training is delivered for the customer
  • Providing technical delivery support and advice to internal stakeholders
  • Considers the training requests and produce a solution or alternative solution to meet the needs of the customers
  • Ensures a high standard of training delivery, continuously reviewing processes, facilitation and outcomes to continuously improve the customer and learner experience
  • Applies for government funding schemes in support of learning
  • Gathers feedback and learning evaluations, to continually drive improvements
  • Manages apprenticeship programs across the business
About you


To be successful in this role, you enjoy talking and working with people at different levels across a diverse organisation, continuously looking for better ways to operate, whilst driving change with strong stakeholder management skills.


We are seeking an individual with a proven customer service record, who can provide practical solutions to a blue-collar workforce, whilst connecting the learning to the overall learning strategy.


You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
  • 6 or more years working in a Learning role, delivering solutions for a bluecollar workforce
  • Proven experience in engaging and liaising with front line staff & supervisors / managers, senior managers, industry specialists, clients and regulatory authorities.
