Why Your Role Matters:


As an Administrator (Research) you will provide effective day-to-day research administration support within the Randwick Clinical Campus to provide effective management of post-award grant activities and reporting requirements.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide high level research administration support to the Randwick Clinical Campus and other nominated teams across the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
  • Act as a liaison point for researchers from within the Randwick Clinical Campus. In partnership with relevant University stakeholders, assist researchers to efficiently manage active research projects.
  • Ensure that centralised University resources are activated to facilitate compliance with grant terms, mitigate risk, promptly resolve issues, and otherwise facilitate the smooth conduct of funded research.
  • Provide effective specialist advice relating to research administrative guidelines, processes and activities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed filing systems, spreadsheets, databases, websites and other administrative systems.
  • Draft agendas, minutes, correspondence, briefing notes, and guidelines for specific committees and meetings as required.

Who You Are:


  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Advanced time management, organisational and problemsolving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
  • Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
