An exciting and rewarding permanent/full opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join our NRMA Batemans Bay Holiday Resort, located in the heart of Batemans Bay, on the edge of Corrigans Beach.

The Role:


We currently have a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Assistant Manager of this stunning property.

This role would be suited to those with Rooms Division Management experience.

Living onsite is a requirement of this role and a residence is available at subsidised rent as part of the management agreement.


You will report to and assist the Resort Manager to oversee the efficient and reliable park operation through the provision of a consistently high standard of accommodation products and services, and a diverse range of activities in an efficient yet friendly Australian hospitality environment.

The hours required will be 5 days each week, with some after and on call hours during some evenings.


Core responsibilities include:


  • You will be required to take a handson approach to working closely with the housekeeping, grounds and maintenance, activities and food and beverage departments, ensuring quality standards, assigning tasks, setting schedules and conducting regular inspections.
  • Displaying a handson approach to managing the park
  • Acknowledging that all employees are valued and important members of the park team and maintaining leadership credibility in all areas of the park operation by exhibiting consistent high standards of personal ethics
  • Preparing a detailed monthly report for the General Manager
  • Ensuring that all employees receive a thorough park and department induction and sufficient on the job training
  • Liaising with the General Manager with regards to significant maintenance issues, repairs and soft refurbishment projects.
  • Monitoring and maintaining a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employees

You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are a hands-on leader; you walk the talk, can communicate confidently, and lead/manage/mentor staff at all levels.
