About the role


Operating within the Satellite Sales team with a focus on the
Broadcast & Media segment, the role is responsible for the maintenance and growth of revenues as well as the product lifecycle, delivery and change support for existing and new satellite products & services.

There are five key elements to the successful effectiveness of this role;

Account Management
  • Manage a nominated number of accounts, delivering on revenue, EBITDA and GM targets in line with AOP and target setting.

New Business Development
  • Generate new / incremental business from existing and new Broadcast & Media accounts and opportunities.

Solutions Management

  • Provide broadcast & media technical advice/expertise at an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the commercial adoption of solutions and services, to assist in the development of longterm profitable business relationships with our customers.

Product Management Input
  • Act as "Product Champion" and technical specialist on designated products to support the Strategic Account Manager and other Sales team members.

Delivery Management - leading the end-to-end delivery of customer services ensuring customer and internal satisfaction is very high.


About you

  • This is a consultative product and sales specialist role. Experience in the development of longterm business relationships and developing strategic sales & product plans are crucial.
  • Broadbased telecommunications experience of supporting the broadcast & media industries with a strong concentration on project management. Excellent financial principles with the ability to produce costing models.
  • 5 years working experience in a similar industry in the provision of technical advice in relationship and strategic sales environments.
