Description
We are currently seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team.As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of clients files and ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Recording financial transactions and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately
- Generating financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Managing payroll and ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time
- Communicating with other departments within the organization to ensure that financial records are accurate and uptodate
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks or other equivalent software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
