The Role


Acclimatise Group is seeking a
Program Scheduler to assist the Program Management Team with the development & implementation of deliverable and service requirements within Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC).


Duties

  • Assist in the creation, implementation and utilisation of LNIC work takeon processes.
  • Provide scheduling briefings to LNIC Executive and area leads in order to enhance LNIC Program of Work upkeep through imparting key information requirements required to maintain LNIC Schedule.
  • Undertake analysis with LNIC Program Management Team and key staff to determine resource and time estimates to develop supporting schedules. Build centralised LNIC Schedule which incorporates all deliverables, services and Executive work packages.
  • Contribute to Program Management Team's development of recommendations in relation to task acceptance and prioritisation.
  • Under direction from the LNIC Program Manager, fulfil complex planning, scheduling and work status tracking across an integrated workforce.
  • Develop and maintain an LNIC Program of Work status dashboard to provide LNIC Executive and area leads accurate data as to task and resource status.
  • Contribute to LNIC strategic planning, through imparting schedule analysis of LNIC work packages.
  • Other duties as directed by the LNIC Director and/or LNIC Program Manager.

Essential Criteria

  • At least 5 years relevant experience in working with project schedules.
  • Experience in scheduling using Microsoft Project Professional.
  • Demonstrated background and experience in large and complex programs.
  • Welldeveloped understanding of contemporary PM methodologies coupled with proven understanding of Project Controls, Scheduling and Risk Management.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and across the customer/contractor boundaries.
  • Demonstrate skillsets in executive level project reporting and a thorough understanding of project financial management.
  • Clear understanding of the One Defence Capability Model (formerly capability lifecycle (CLC)).
  • Active Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1).

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in scheduling within an Open Plan Professional (OPP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) environment.
  • Experience with or understanding of Army/Defence Project Management and Project Management Office environments.
