About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this Settlements Team Leader position is managing a small group of people in verifications, documentation preparation and post settlements.

This role is responsible for managing the efficient day to day running of the settlements and admins team's work volumes, allocations, and service levels.

Being responsible for actively managing critical processes and ensuring all mortgage settlement obligations are fulfilled on time and with accuracy is the key focus of the role.


Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Manage and monitor team to ensure client service levels are adhered to
  • Lead and Inspire team to achieve productivity targets and overcome road blocks
  • Develop and role model a culture of high performance and commitment
  • Undertake performance reviews and handle any performance related issues
  • Ensure team adherence with risk and compliance framework
  • Identifying, driving, and delivering continuous improvement to create a great experience for clients
  • Conduct team meetings and discussions
  • Provide quality customer service, including actively responding to customer enquiries.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a team leader or supervisor role, paired with mortgages settlement.

You will have strong relationship and people management skills, as well as the ability to drive a continuous improvement culture within the team.

It is ideal that you have gained this experience within the property, legal or financial services sector. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and likes a challenge.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with key stakeholders across the business are required for this position.
